I was on The Diane Rehm Show on NPR for a full hour, talking about Hamlet’s BlackBerry.
Diane asked some of the most probing questions I’ve gotten about the book, and the calls and emails were terrific.
This was also the first time I’ve been asked to read, something I’ll be doing often while on tour in the coming weeks. Diane chose the opening of Chapter Two, “Hello, Mother,” about calling my mom from the car. I have no idea how the reading sounded, but the listener comments were very positive.
I know why Diane Rehm has such a huge following. She comes at books in a very human way, straight from the heart, and she lets the conversation go wherever it wants to.
